Fitted with the two trials and drawn to get the right run. Goes close. FLYING FROM ABOVE (1) promising colt kept fresh for this after failing to handle the steep class rise when eighth over 1500m in the G2 Phar Lap Stakes at Rosehill. Fitted with a tick over trial and Wadick's claim brings him right into contention. GONE TO CAPE YORK (5) debuted with a gritty win two runs back. Almost six-weeks between runs when a disappointing seventh over 1200m at Wyong. Strips fitter and the blinkers go on. MERCANTILIST (9) impressed as a solid odds-on favourite on debut when closed off strongly to salute to salute over 1200m at Gosford on March 15. Drawn out and will need a bit of luck from the draw. The chances don't end there.
