About Guillermo Sanz

Whoever said “there’s no rest for the wicked” must have been thinking about Guillermo Sanz. The man is a true poker creative that has navigated most facets of the industry, from playing on the felt to interviewing players, commentating and creating content for his stream. A native of Palencia, Guillermo, known as Willo, started out as a writer and contributed to several poker platforms as an informed and respected voice within the industry. After a couple of years freelancing, he landed a dream job as a PokerStars commentator for European Poker Tour streams and TV shows. Although he worked tirelessly to bring excellent content to PokerStars players and supporters, there was still an itch that needed to be scratched. The tables were calling and he couldn’t help but answer. After all, Willo began his poker journey in 2010 and has always loved the cut and thrust of tournaments.
