About Alex Romero
Alex Romero is quickly rising through the poker ranks. Even as a young player learning the game, he has recorded results that the most experienced of career professionals would be proud of. And he has no plans on stopping now. Based in Andalusia in the south of Spain, Alex’s journey could have initially taken him on another path. As late as 2020, he was a physiotherapist who played poker as a hobby. Sure, there were some exciting results, but Alex had yet to push the button and go all-in. That changed during the pandemic when he began to study the game like never before. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect, and while it might have taken a couple of years, Alex was suddenly reaping the rewards for his dedication. In 2022, he went deep in the EPT Monte-Carlo Main Event to record a 9th place finish and the biggest payday of his career at €69,990.
