KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM WCOOP BOOT CAMP 2025

MULTIPLE CHAMPIONS

There were three multiple champs throughout the series, including none other than PokerStars Ambassador Fintan “easywithaces” Hand. He took down a $1K Super Tuesday and the $530 Bounty Builder HR for more than $27,500 combined.

“10Badboy10” also picked up two wins, but praise must go to Brazil’s Gabriel “gtavares10” Tavares, who not only won two events, but two editions of the same event on the same day. Tavares won both the $530 and $5K Titans tournaments–very impressive indeed.

WCOOP BOOT CAMP 2025 RESULTS

GEARING UP FOR BOOTCAMP

You wouldn’t run a marathon without weeks of training. You wouldn’t sit an exam without studying. You wouldn’t set off on a long road trip without stocking up on supplies and filling the car with fuel.

And yet, when it comes to the most prestigious online poker series of them all – the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) – many of us jump straight in, smashing that ‘Register’ button without any prep or warm-ups.

There’s nothing wrong with that, of course.

But just think how well you might play – and the results you might get – if you allowed yourself a WCOOP training camp…

FIRST THINGS FIRST

Saves the dates…

The World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is PokerStars’ flagship online series — one of the most prestigious in all of poker, online or off.

The 24th edition will run from September 7 to October 1, 2025.

Get those dates in your calendar now. Then…

GET CHAMPIONSHIP-READY – AUGUST 3-18

Introducing WCOOP Boot camp – a 67-event warm-up series with $9 million guaranteed, designed to help casual poker players prepare for WCOOP and get a taste of what playing a series is like (if you’ve never played one before).

Each event has two buy-in levels – Low and High – meaning there are 134 tournaments overall with buy-ins starting from as little as $2.20.

Players not only love WCOOP due to its history and prestige, but they also love it because of the different poker games you get to play; the myriad of fun tournament formats in the mix; and last but not least, the huge prizes on offer.

WCOOP Boot camp replicates all of that, and at the low buy-in level, it does so at a fraction of the cost.

Main Events: Sunday, Aug 17, 2025

  • $109 NLHE Main Event Low, $600K Gtd
  • $1,050 NLHE Main Event High, $400K Gtd

Satellites running from as little as $1.10!
