Race to Phase 2: Spraggy wins, but Seb’s supporters aren’t out yet
Spraggy has won the Race to Phase 2 by qualifying for the second stage of the massive Sunday Million Anniversary first. But Seb’s supporters could still be in with a shot of winning…
CONGRATULATIONS, SPRAGGY
He’s done it!
On Tuesday, July 28, Ben “Spraggy” Spragg booked his seat in Phase 2 of the SMA, qualifying with a stack of 187,043. He’ll enter the second stage around the middle of the chip counts.
Spraggy’s All In Shootout ran on Wednesday, July 29, with 92 players securing themselves a $109 SMA ticket.
BUT FEAR NOT, SEB SUPPORTERS…
Sebastian “peace&loove” Huber has until August 14 to qualify himself. If he can do it, his All In Shootout will still run.

RACE TO PHASE 2
We’ve seen some exhilarating sporting rivalries so far this summer, but none can compete with the duel that’s about to take place.
Away from the tables, Ben “Spraggy” Spragg and Sebastian “peace&loove” Huber are friends and fellow PokerStars Ambassadors. But beneath that friendship, a rivalry had clearly been simmering. Now, it’s boiled over.
Both want to qualify for Phase 2 of the massive Sunday Million Anniversary event, but this tournament ain’t big enough for the both of them.
(Actually, that’s not true. It’s absolutely massive, and the field is going to be huge–not surprising for a tournament with a $5 million guarantee. There is absolutely plenty of room for them to both.)
But for the sake of this promotion, let’s say only one could progress to Phase 2. Who are you backing to do it first?
Give it some thought, because if you pick correctly, you’ll be in with a very good shot of winning a $109 ticket for the Sunday Million Anniversary yourself.
HERE’S THE DEAL
PokerStars has created an All In Shootout with $5,000 worth of $109 tickets for both Spraggy and Seb, and it costs just $0.01 to enter. Yep, one cent.
Enter the centroll of the Ambassador you think will progress to Phase 2 first (using the password SMA20), and if you’re right, that centroll will run on August 30, 2026. It’s an automatic tournament, meaning you don’t need to be present to take part. If you win, your ticket will be added to your PokerStars account.
The player yet to qualify will battle on and continue trying to qualify until the deadline (11:59 ET on August 14). If they fail, their All In Shootout will be cancelled.

BUT…
If neither Spraggy nor Seb makes it through to Phase 2, both All In Shootouts will run. So feel free to anti-sweat them both, if that’s your thing.
But we think it’s more fun to pick one and back your guy by watching their streams as they attempt again and again to clinch a seat in Phase 2. Daily heats (Phase 1s) will be running every time they play.
